Law 054 [Study in Progress]
Deuteronomy 7:26
26 And thou shalt not bring an abomination into thy house, and be accursed like unto it; thou shalt utterly detest it, and thou shalt utterly abhor it; for it is a devoted thing. |

Understanding
First level of righteousness is whether good or evil, second level is not to deter committed things, third level is usurping authority by making bad things good which only Elohim can declare.
[Are there any Scriptures where something that was bad is called good, and was it within the power or authority of man?]
[Ref. the passages about in the final days that good would be called evil and evil called good which was to the detriment of man.]
This brings to mind issues of Yisabeil, sanctity of marriages, spiritual adultery and spiritual idolatry, Torah Laws of declared holy things, and issues of loving the brethren because we want to love the people but cannot accept the things to which they are devoted. The last thing about people here seems to be where we get the understanding of loving people but hating sin; however, it is too easy to reject people from the start and put up a palatable wall which can be at times almost impossible to break. This issue leads to situation whereby arguments, misunderstandings, and strife are created among the brethren. The thinking here is that if the principles of Mattit-Yahu are instituted to approach the brethren one-on-one first to clear an issue of spiritual ramifications, that the wall of spiritual separation can be broken without a lot of effort to those who would hear.
