| Blessing for Sanctifying The Lights of The Shabbat |
| After the candle has been ignited just before sunset, |
| hold up the havdalah candle in the right hand and recite the blessing |

| The spices are passed around and everyone enjoys the aroma of the spices, reminding us that Yahu'ah has called everyone to Himself, and that He takes joy in the many different peoples who come to serve Him. (II Kor 2:15) |

We extinguish the Havdalah candle with the wine.
As we hear the sound of the flame fighting to be extinguished,
we remember the death of Moshienu as life was leaving His body for our sakes.
After the light is extingished, we drink the rest of the wine, and savor the last taste of Shabbath.
Next, we look forward to the coming of Eiliyahu by singing "Eiliyahu HaNavi."
There is a promise that Eiliyahu restores Yisra’el to Yahu’ah,
by first restoring the hearts of the fathers and their children to one another. |
